Sue Gascoyne
Sue Gascoyne is a socially-engaged artist whose current practice uses textiles, stitch, ceramics, painting, mark-making, sculpture, glass, bio materials and mixed media to explore identity, agency, safety and connections to the environment and each other.
Sue’s sensory-rich art explores what it means to be human. The hand of the maker is evident in the plethora of practices used to bring sculpture to life and sustainability is key. With work shown in 26 exhibitions since 2024, Sue's work has been widely exhibited throughout London and East Anglia.
Sue is passionate about making art accessible and relevant through hands-on workshops, co-creation activities and creating safe spaces for reflection and connection.
